200 University Ave W,
When I enrolled in graphic design school, back in 2006 in my homeland Brazil, I had no idea what my life would look like. Since then, I discovered my passion for information design, more specifically in digital interfaces. UX was not even a thing when I first started exploring user experience, human-computer interaction and sensemaking within complex systems.
I always welcomed challenges, working from the very beginning of my career solving problems in fields far from my comfort zone such as financial risks and healthcare. It was this drive that lead me to my master's in Biomedical Engineering.
In 2018 I started a new chapter of my life, moving to Canada and starting my doctoral studies in Health Informatics.
